Dr. Grégoire is a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Université de Sherbrooke.
After completing his MD and Ophthalmology residency at Université Laval, he went on to Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, for a 2-year fellowship in Surgical Retina under the supervision of James Diamond and Gholam Peyman. Dr. Grégoire practises at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Sherbrooke and in a peripheral community hospital in Thetford Mines. After getting involved at the University level, Dr. Grégoire was named the Chief of Ophthalmology Services. He teaches surgery and retina and also participates in research projects mainly in medical retina and anti-vascular endothelial growth factor. His main area of interest is intraocular surgery. He is currently the Medical Director of a private medical practice, OculoVision, which operates its own surgical center.
